I was recently at a gas station, filling up my gas, cleaning my windows, adding oil to my car, and having an argument with my girlfriend... when I backed up with the nozzle still in the tank! My moment of utter stupidity... thanks you, thank you... I ripped the gas lid door off of the car, but fortunately, It didn't touch the paint on the quarterpanel. I was able to pound out the lid to *nearly* it's original shape, only a few scratches on the lid... but it will never be as flat as it's supposed to be again.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? I'm sure the Audi dealer can hook it up, possibly with matching paint.... but I wonder if there's somewhere else I can get one that won't cost an arm and a leg.

 

Try getting a used one maybe?
