Hi Everyone, I have a 2007 A6 Avant 3.2 that had upper tensioners and VVT Sprockets replaced at dealer under warranty last year March. I had them do the work since it was under warranty despite being a distance from me. Cant say I was happy with the end result due to finding a bunch of stuff lose after reassembly caused numerous code after driving 120 miles. So i was not surprised to have an issue causing a rough idle now. I am using a Schwaben VAG i had purchased from Etuning several years ago and pulled the code of 00870, Camshaft Pos Sensor "B" Circ (Bank 1) Range/Performance - sporadic 006-short to plus. I swapped the cam sensors and no change. upon closer look i notice oil leaking on the right side just below the timing cover and figured with everything else that i found lose after the work was done this might just be a possoble source. So i went ahead and redid the and replace the tensioner. I did find several bolts along the disassembly process so i figured i was on the right track. I got everything together and solved the oil leak but i'm still getting this weird code.
Any help will be appreciated. I did reach out to Foxwell support asking for explanation of the code but I haven't heard back. I am changing the motor mount to clear that code as wee in pic as well
