Its a 99 A6 Avant. A couple of days ago the car started acting up. It doesnt matter if we activate the central locks or not. The locks will constantly lock/unlock while driving. When the car is parked the windows will randomly roll down on their own and the locks will just sit there and lock/unlock also. Its driving me nuts. I park the car and when we come back the doors are unlocked, or maybe locked, and the windows are somewhere open (not where we left them)

Please help.

 

I would start by checking the driver seat master switch. Water may have gotten in there somehow. I had the same issue on one window, driver side rear... Turned out that I somehow managed to get some water in there. I just had to dry it out.

If it is not water, I would still think that it is the switch cluster related.
