Was going to Trade, now will keep
No offense, but there is no RATIONAL argument over the fact that just because its an Audi, you should be able to suck it up when it comes to repairs. Money is money, and regardless if you have alot or little, a car with 79k miles should not be in need of new cv boots, cam seals, vehicle immobilizer, guage cluster, o2 sensors, catalytoc convertors, etc. I'm tired of hearing, "you bought a high end car, if you cant afford to repair it, then dont own it". Honestly, if its such a nice car, it shouldnt need repairs like these so soon.
Shame on me for buying a car that has become a money pit (I guess I didnt do enough research)
Trust me, I love the car. I like the way it drives, I like the turbo power, etc.

Well consider this....Consumer Reports shows Audis consistently underperform when it comes to reliability. However, owners still love them mainly because they drive great, have smooth engines, they are quiet and refined, the fit and finish is superb, they are stable, have plenty of power, loads of features and optionsand well...they look good.
If you want reliability, you're better off with a Toyota, but nobody ever gets excited about a Toyota. I love my Audi, but like you I do get frustrated about the reliability and potential for very expensive repairs. That doesn't keep me from drooling over an nice A8L by any means - but it is a factor when considering any car purchase. Because my wife drives a Honda that NEVER needs anything other than gas and oil changes, I figure between the two cars I am probably average when it comes to maintenance costs.
All things considered, I love my car....I just don't love certain things about my car.
