Default Good deal?

Hey i'm looking at a 2000 A6 2.7T 6 speed. It's got 93k miles and seems to be in great condition. They're asking 10,988 but i know the sales manager and could probably get it cheaper. Is it just me or does that seem low?

Depends on a lot... is there anything that needs to be fixed? Paint damage? Its got 93k,has the timing belt service been done? See I bought my 2000 2.7T 6 speed with 93k for only $7000. But I knew there were things that were going to be fixed when I got it. Such as control arms, tie rods and timing belt. Get more details about it and then you can make a good decision.

I could be wrong but i believe timing belt, tie rod ends, and even the control arms were done recently. I'll have to check into it more.

The other one i'm looking at is an 01 auto with 95k miles that needs control arms, and tie rod ends and they're asking 10,100...

If the work has been done, then that's a fair price. Be sure the work has been done, though. If not 100% sure, discount accordingly.
