If you don't mind the drive to LaCrosse, Pete Conway at Conway Auto service is the best mechanic I have ever meet. We now live in Minneapolis but still drive the 3 hours to bring our cars to him when the problem is too involved for us to do. If you need a part from the dealer to install yourself, he gets 20% off (at least volvo, saab, bmw), so if you order the part from him, he splits his discount with you, you get 10% off and he takes 10% as he says for just making a phone call.
