Default Is this a good video system?

hi all. i would really like some replies on this, its a big investment for me(im a teen) and want to have some audi-opinions come in . . .

i have a 98 a6 here. i want to get some type of video in my car. i really want the flip down sun visors as seen like in this picture:

http://usera.imagecave.com/macro730/audisun.bmp.jpg

but that is too pricey. from the 250 for both visors + 370 for installation including a power converter for my ps2 (quote from local audio shop) thats over 600 bucks! too much for me lol.

i am planning on getting an in-dash unit. but i have a problem. my car only has a slot for one unit, so i plan on customizing everything. do you guys think this will turn out to look nice? here is the proposed setup. please read and follw links lol.

i plan on buying this : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MakeTrack=true

my current look as of right now :

what i plan to do, move AC down to empty area, move audio down, insert monitor unit.

open: http://usera.imagecave.com/macro730/openaudi.jpg

it involves moving the AC unit down to the bottom(the empty space would be gone.), moving the audio unit down on top of the AC, then mounting the screen on top of the stock audio unit.

does anyone have some type of video system in their a6, can i see some pictures?

sorry for my bad photoshopping skills.

Default RE: Is this a good video system?

Here is my video system, but it was VERY expensive...

Blaupunkt ME-3 DVD/TV tuner that plays on the OEM RNS-E navigation screen...

Here is the unit mounted in the trunk under the CD changer...

I am installing an amplified patch antenna under the trunk lid liner so I can catch local TV stations. Too bad I cannot get HBO LOL!!! Anyway, this was a fairly complex install, and fairly pricey, but I am a fan of OEM. BTW, the RNS-E navigation unit is great for geeting around town, but with the DVD player as well, it is a LOT of fun!!!
