FM sounds fine, but when i want my talk stations on AM not one channel sounds good it sounds all interferency and gargled, are there any ways to tune the tunes? any help would be totally tubular!!!!

maybe your antena needs to be tightened

There are two antennas on the back of the radio, the big black on is the FM, the small yellow one next to it is the AM. Check the connection of the AM lead. If thats ok, its either your diversity controller, antenna lead by the rear window, or the wiring for the HF wire is bad which is not un-common.

i read somewhere that certain metal based tints have an effect on AM reception due to the short-wave frequencies...dunno if you have tint though.
