Default Headlight cleaning

Ok I know that I can't be the only one stuck with discoloring headlights. It looks like I have a nasty film on them, can't get it off.

Does anyone have a fix for this? Or do I just buy new lens/headlights?
I would like to have my headlights nice and clear. and put some HIDs in later but not till I have nice clean looking ones.

Any one have a link to new lens? or a DIY repair on them?

go to your local auto parts store they should have a plastic headlight restoration kit. Mine cost like $15 and it just has 1000 1500 2000 and 2500 grit sandpaper a cloth and polishing fluid. It didn't work 100% right away but a few more applications of it got it looking a lot better.

Anyone try Flitz? I heard good things about it but don't know about using it on the Audi lenses.

I used a wet sand 2000 grit on my lenses and finished with the buffer/McGuires. I buffed the hell out of them and the outcome is spectacular.
