Default Headlight Jitter

Hi everyone,

I was hoping someone would know if there is a fix for this;
On my 2005 a6, the drivers side headlight jitters, and when i drive all the signs on the road look like strobe lights. I think this may be due to the mechanism that adjusts the level of the lens, if so can you take apart the headlight assembly and tighten it up?

Also does anyone know if there are any aftermarket headlights for this car that look like the new a4 ones with the LED?

Thanks so much

Is there a fuse for the adaptive headlight, try killing the power to it and see what happen. The 09 A6 have the LED DRL also.

Audi has a TSB on the vibrating headlight issue. Drop me a PM with your e-mail address and refernce the vibrating headlight, and I will send you the TSB.

Thanks Kevin,

I found the problem. It was the mount for the lens that was loose, all though this headlight was no easy task i tightened up some loose mountings inside and its great again.

Thank you kindly
