Heated steering wheel
#14
I don't know about 2000 or 2001, but by 2002 (my model year), in order to get the heated steering wheel, you had to get the V-8.
But, back to the original topic, there should be a ring in the steering column that passes power to the wheel. Start by seeing if the ring is getting power. If not, check the continuity of the wire from the, I assume, driver's side heated seat adjustment **** to the ring. If the ring is getting power, check the conitnuity of the steering wheel. If it is continuous, then it is the connections between the wheel and the ring that need to be cleaned up. Start there, report back if this does not find the fault and we can analyze the problem some more.

my 99 has all the options, front and rear heated and also the ski bag, which i removed, but my wheel doesnt heat up, and my wheel is manual adjustment, so im guessing mines not working either? or does the manual wheel adjustment ones not have it ?

Off main topic, but on the topic of the useless ski sack, what is involved in removing it? Ive thought about it, but never taken action. Also, still havent heard back on your climate control thing man... kid must have died or somthing, lol.

well i just kept playing with the bag until i saw that it came flying out, i didnt tear it or anything i guess its just like snapped in there somehow, i didnt really see since it just flew out.. lol but now i have access to my trunk from the inside.. lol and im still puzzled on the climate control thing, and my stereo doesnt turn off by its self anymore so i have to push the button in to turn it off... but for the cold time being here until i take it back to the place that installed it, i just unplug the back plug and the blower goes full speed and i get heat but i cant control it, then when i go on the highway or about 50mph or higher i plug it back it to turn it off. then my rpms come back and my oil level warning goes away.. its strange how these cars are linked together in the most fucked up ways.

What does that mean? It's supposed to turn off by itself haha?? And i've got all the options with the manual steering wheel adjustment so i think your wheel is supposed to warm up too.
