hey guys brand new here. just picked up a 95 a6 quattro. i want to make a secong key and was wondering if there is immobilizer in the car? if so whats the best way to approach gettin a key made.
Also is there any concerns i should no about this year and model?? Any feedback would be great. thx guys

 

immobilzers started to be in the cars around 2001 for Audis. Just have a local shop cut a key for you. As for the things to know, that is what the forum is for. Look around.

i have a 95 also, and from ive been told/understand...if u need any power steering kind of things done to it...past replacing the hose...good luck...apparently after our yr they changed the configuration of it all bc it was too tight to work with and u had to pull more then normal out to get to the rack and pump...so pray urs doesnt go like mine almost did lol

 

thx again. keep it coming guys. i just got a engine light but it stayed on for like 30 seconds then went off. then came back on like 30 min later then went off???? any way to check this?
