Default Help with A6 3.0

I recently bought a 2003 A6 3.0. It was inspected at a local Audi dealer with no faults. The problem that I am having is very high fuel consumption. I am averaging about 15.5 L/100 KMS. Right now I am getting 13.5 with mostly highway miles. I checked the spark plugs and they are very clean. They look like they have been replaced just before I bought the car. I don’t have a VAG.COM cable yet to check error codes. I am thinking that maybe the O2 sensor may be at fault. Does any one know how to check O2 sensor, or any other experiences with this problem.

I like your kind of thinking. I know the right place, just down the street. We call it the Pink Palace. Living in Montreal has its benifits.
