HELP cold starting problem, abs and traction control lights on

i have a 2001 a6 2.7t q when the car is cold it has problems starting it
just turns over 3-4 times then starts. then the abs light and the traction control light comes on than i drive about 2 miles turn it off and back on it starts fine and the traction control and abs lights are off again.
if you could give me any ideas of whats going on that would be great.

Check the fault codes and post them, the cold start issue can be as simple as a ect sensor. As for the abs light going off its probably your abs control module, try communicating with it with a vag-com or a factory scanner, if it doesn't communicate the module is probably bad.
