Help need for 0154 error code
Hi... I have a 2000 2.8 Avant, and recently a check engine light with an error code of 0154 "O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected" for Bank 2 Sensor 1 started to pop up.
Interestingly, the check engine light would automatically turn off after a while.
I know this sounds crazy but the light only comes on when it has rained for a prolong time and when the skies dry out the code disappears. The car experiences rough idle and wants to drop below 800rpm when the problem exists, but when its not acting up, everything is perfectly fine.
Any advice on tacking this problem please? Much appreciate your inputs.
Don't know if its relevant, my Avant has about 89000 miles, hasn't changed time belt yet, once had massive oil leak.

Sounds to me like when it is moist out, water is shorting out your o2 sensor. Look for exposed wires or poorly sealed connectors for the o2 sensors.
Welcome to the forums, and enjoy your 00 Avant, I sure do

Thanks for the prompt response! Yes I'm a new user to the forum, and a bit of an idoit to DIY fixing really... so you mind pointing out where to look for the relevant O2 sensors? From what I've heard it is a royal pain to access those things...
