Ok so my side mirrors are starting to like peel away except you cant peel it off. Its like a two tone color now. I believe the Heated Mirror is broken. Now im going to to replace these but i just wanted to make sure that this was the problem and what is Anti-Dazzle?

 

This seems to be a common problem on the Audi's. Mine has also just started doing that. It started at the top from one end to the other and its moving down. [>:]. I hate this problem.
Does anyone know if the 2001 A6 2.7t has heated mirrors? I didnt think it did. I thought it did this because of its dimming mechanism.

The chemical that is in the heated mirror breaks down after a few years and it turns the gold color. It happened to my Park Ave, Audi, etc. The only thing you can do is replace the mirror. I got a used one that was OK from my friend in Concord NH
