help on suspension

Default help on suspension

I lowerd my car with h&r springs. And replaced the shocks today with kyb struts but now the front is slammed lower than it was with the stock shocks I replaced the struts. Strut mounts used the old spring perches

i took off the strut today checked it with the old one. and the new one is a 1" lower than the stock from the bottom mounting hole to te bottom of the spring plate feels like the shock bottoms out over bumps any help

you might be able to shim the springs to get some ride height back or you could buy springs that are matched to those new struts....I assume the bottoming out you are feeling is the suspension on its bump stops not the shock at the end of its travel. I would try and get in touch with KYB and see what options you have
