Just finished front suspension job heading out to get aleignment and tranny stuck in park, what gives with these cars, just hit 90K and the thing is falling apart, everyday it is something else, worst car Ive ever owned for realibility!!!!!

 

Is the brake pedal releasing the lock on the trans. You should be able to hear it when you press the brake. If not y0u need a new brake light switch.

 

did you have the ignition key in?? many newer cars require it to change gears ( all cars have problems )
