Default How to change my fog lights.

Greetings my fellow auto gurus (well I guess I shouldn't say fellow auto-guru because I'm a layman in that area).

One of my fog lights went out ('05 A6) and I don't want to take the car to the dealership to get the same halogens. Is it that hard to replace fog lights on my own? I wouldn't do it myself; I have a cousin who's a mechanic and works on buses and another who replaces his own lights on his Infiniti G35. Is this an easy walk through process or should I just get someone else to do it?

I don't know about C6, but C5 is pretty simple. Just remove the plastic grill by releasing the plastic tabs and pulling it out forward. There are a few screws holding the housing and remove the housing. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove a couple of housing screws. And that is it.

Its the same on the C6, pull out the grill and the fog lights are bolted on. There are instruction on the internet, just do a google and be careful with those tabs on the grill.
