just like the topic says - how do I replace the bulbs in the dash on a '98 A6?

Thanks! Anyone know where i can find replacement bulbs for a '98 A6 Q? The dealership has told me it's not a replaceable item and that I'd have to replace the whole cluster (BS - see thread in A6 section). I have not been able to find replacement bulbs online yet...

on a6 c5 you cant replace them, tehir LED lights and they have to be soltered and its impossible to do, those things are tiny, good luck

 

Wait are they surface mount or regular pinhole soldered on. I can do pinhole, and I can do surface mount if I know bulb specs/voltages/etc and I can get those via my Multimeter...

 

My info cluster in the center of my dash has a lot of lights out, is there a thread or a way I can replace this. Also, how can I tell what c# my '99 a6 Quattro is?
