Default How do I replace an Audi radio ?

Hey Guys.
Names Bob, I just picked up a 98 Audi A6
I need Usb but of course the stock radio has a cassette and Cd plyr.
I've a got great after maket radio that will interface with system but I've
never worked on an Audi before and truthfully, it looks like a pita.
I understand that it will require a face plate adaptor and wire harness adaptors. I got a quote for around $100 from a shope that's recomended
by the dealer but I'm wondering if I should give it a shot.
I've installed radios a few times on older cars but never an German made
vehicle.
Any advice?

Buy a set of radio removal tools.
