Default How hard is it to replace a fuel rail?

Title says it all. Pretty sure I know what I'm doing but is there anything I should know about replacing a fuel rail on 2.7T? Also, is there a guide somewhere that I could follow? Thanks.

I have a 3.0 but it's relatively easy. First remove the electrical connectors from the injectors (hardest part) you may want to seperate the wire loom carefully with a small screwdriver.

Disconnect the Fuel and return lines I think mine was a 17mm and a 14mm wrench.

Next unbolt the rail mine has four 5mm allens.

Pull up and out injectors and all. Keep everything in a clean place don't let the injectors get dirty.

The injectors are held in by a slide clip. Use vasaline to lube the o-rings before you push them back into the rail and then the block or the o-rings may tear and cause a leak. You can get new o-rings from any Audi,BMW,VW,Range Rover dealer, they are cheap and everyone pretty much has them in stock.

make sure you clean the electrical pins on the injectors and pinch the females in the terminal before you reinstall. This will ensure you have a tight connection.
