I have a 1995 Audi A6 2.8L manual. Curious how many CC's I actually have??? It was mentioned I have 4, 2 upper 2 lower, but the upper's aren't really seen or can be considered "useless"... I recently had to take it in for repair, engine stalling out and hard time up hills... they said my right CC was clogged. I guess most cars only have one.... or so I'm told...

 

The smaller ones closest to the heads light up right away, but don't do much cleanig. However, the heat they generate makes the main unit light up quicker.

 

You have 2. If you can get the car onto a lift, they are easily seen from the bottom towards the front of the car. They may be an orangey color if the car is older. They can be rather difficult to replace, as these parts contain expensive rare metals and are securely attached in most Audis and VWs. Hope this helps!
