They are a Forge Hybrid combo recirculation/blow off valve. Price should in the area of $130. thru $160. each.

yo i have these things ... tell me how the hell i get them to sound like the utube video bc all i get is a loud whistle throughout like 1700-2500 rpms n then no blow off sound ... also my top end acceleration SUCKKKSSSS because i guess the boost is not retained ... i am going to tighten up the spring so it doesnt release as early and see if that helps but i really want the sound from the you tube video ... how???

Hey Joe,

Did they come with different springs? It sounds like the spring in the valve is not strong enough. APR was having the same problem with their R1 valve on the 2.7T engines. I saw some people take the R1 apart and replacing the spring with one of the Forge springs. The Forge springs are color coded for different boostrating.

My bro-in-law had the problem on his S4 with the R1. It was a constant whistling noise.

I know that the springs are available on Forge's website. I believe it is a set of 3 or maybe 4. I think there is a technical section to be able to download instructions. If you believe you are pushing 15lbs of boost, I am certain that their springs will cover a range of boost, for example (15-20lbs of boost) and so on. I would check their site. I would think that you could take the DV apart like their 007.
