The little chrome lip on my trunk looks pretty bad! I would like to remove it but can't figure out how!! It doesn't look like it has any screws. There are 2 spots on the bottom(when trunk is open) of the chrome lip I tried sticking a flat head screw driver in and popping it out of place but didn't work. Also does anyone know what's under that chrom lip? I would also like to remove the chrome on the doors if anyone knows how!! Thanks!

 

If the chrome looks bad, just polish them, you will need a buffer.

If you want to try to bring back the shine, get a little piece of steel wool and buff it with that. A little steel wool goes a long way. If your looking to remove it; either double sided tape or clipped. Just give it a little pull. You might hurt the trim but you won't hurt the sheet metal.
