I put it in go into the snow slam the brake, bam my abs works and eveything is good. But when i scan with my vag scanner, it still shows the P1606 code, will disconnecting the battery for the night work for me???

Well the code is classified or identified as

Rough Road Spec Engine Torque ABS-ECU Electrical Malfunction.

So check the connection or maybe they fixed one thing and disturbed another in the electrical connection. If you cleared the code more then once then disconnecting the Batt is not going to do anything. For the most part you are not going to clear any codes by disconnecting the Batt.

Try clearing the codes in the ECU then back to the ABS. There is a chance that there are multiple codes stored around the modules that are creating the code

If your Brake warning light is not on and your ABS works, I don't see why you need to worry about a code in the ECU's memory.

Did you try to clear the codes in the ECU/ECM as it was suggested? From the reply it isn't clear if you tried that or not.
