Hurt or Help??
I have a 2001 A6 2.7t and I was wondering if it would be a good or stupid idea to sea-foam the car. I know there's lots of different places where you can use it on the car but would it be alright or would it hurt the turbos? Im just curious.

Of many popular fuel system purge products one could find interesting patterns and resemblance.
Even WD40. (in Europe it the content is different)
Only Techtron by Shevron I found has a special component.
If one targets all fuel system components – the purge agent should be run from the tank.
The industrial concentration of LubroMoly is 1gl gas, 1 Ventil Sauber, 1 Jetron cleaner. If you double it is even better. I know it from many practical cases.

As I don’t poses the industrial apparatus (1gl steel cylinder with valve for pressure air connection) I drive till have 4-5l gas in the tank and then get in the purgers. Idle only, for 20min at variety of rpm – up to 3000. Could leave the blend overnight in the system for best results The best way is to be done before an oil change.
Running small amounts constantly in the gas would harm only one’s pocket if paid in full in the store. Some xylene and acetone would make the blend completely scientific.

I used on my 2.8 ATQ and I noticed that the engine definitely runs smoother. I did the crankcase direct pour, intake pour and the gas tank pour. For the crankcase, I changed my oil after about 200 miles.
