Default I have the FLASHING "BRAKE" on my dash

anyone had this problem before?

i have a 2000 a6 2.8 fwd
any ideas?

owners manual?

i think it means you need new brakes not sure

Brake fluid; check your resovoir(sp).

so funny, i almost posted the same thread. I had the same problem a few days ago. I called Audi Service and they told me that the car was low on break fluid. They asked me, "if the break light lit up everytime i turned?" and that's exactly what happened... the annoying beep and the break icon on every sharp turn. at any rate, they were kind enough to invite me to come in, and that they would top-it-off for me at no charge in the parking lot.

Since I was there I also asked them about recalls and some silent ones.... no luck with that.
