I think I paid 200-250 for the CV boot at my old shop
I just did my rear brakes 2 wedks ago and paid
1hr labor at $69
120 for rotrors
81 for Hawks HPS pads.. and I did not shop around for pads, just had the shop order them
so total was $270
Last year for my fr brakes another shop charged me
180 for front rotors
140 for Hawks HPS front pads
160 labor (2 hrs)
$480 total but my current shop would have been cheaper

yeeeaaa man, thats some better prices there! I will have to shop around for this one, never have done anything like that to my own cars, how much skill level would you put the boot,brakes,and rotors on an audui from a scale of 1-10. 10 being the hardest

Brakes on a C4 A6
Front brakes: difficulty 3
Rear brakes: difficulty 4 (requires special tool)
CV Boots: difficulty 5, maybe 6.
To bad you don't live in Sac, i would do all of that labor for you for $150.
