Default Ignition Control Module Question

Hi, I just took out the ICM from my Audi A6 1.8T 1997 Auto to take and show to parts dealer but did not manage to get hold of new one. The car was runningbefore but with #1 cylinder misfiring and thats all, but when I put back old ICM to check condition of engine hoping for a miracle (hoping that there is no more misfiring) the car won't start completely.I checked spark plugs and they are soaked with fuel so im guessing that i have completely damage the ICM causing all cylinders to misfire. Is the ICM very sensitive to handle as I probably placed it near electronic appliances or has more problems appeared for my car.
