well guys

so sad to hear that kind of **** goes on in our Audi world.
We can use postal service to send parts and buyer pays to postman after receiving parts, but its also danger to receive a brick instead a part..
Here in Croatia we dont have such modern and express judicial power.. and if you get him on court you can wait for 5 years ...so we use older and better methods (few buddies+1 car with big trank)..and go for a late night picnic in woods , hehe...ofcourse no physicall damages are needed after that ride, from time to time you encounter wannabe Rambo...but few slapings with rubber hose are enough(taken from construction yard after electricians install el. power in the house)

also, you can use WET newspaper on their bare feet...no traces left (learned from our own law enforcement, hehe )

Point to all is: you are never naive, just good person fucked by small bug...
stay cool

p.s. average salary/ month here is 500-700 US $ , so 250 is a lot of money

You both miss the point. Months to take action. "But I'm not HOME!"

You don't gotta be home to start a small claims court action. You are as good as a resident of the state you go to school in.

Regardless, you swallowed every put off he gave you for at least 3 months (Your first post was Jan 9.)

Then, with no evident sense of humor, you jump all over sntemp for his gag that the guy found a way to get interest free loans, with no fixed payback date. Hell, at the rate things seem to be going NO EVER payback date.

"Just because we've given the man opportunities doesn't mean we haven't done our homework. It's just easier that way. Learn not to butt into matters where your unhelpful remarks are not needed."

Easier that way? To wait 3 months or more to get money back from a scammer? I know you are college students, smarter than all us old uneducated farts who don't get ripped off.

That's what lack of education gets you. You don't fall for glib talk from a fellow academic student. Hey, is he possibly in the same Frat you guys are in? That would be truly sacriligeous! To screw over a Frat brother!

Hope you get your money back, but there are lots more out there who will probably take it from you again.

Cheers,

George

I guess you guys could always continue to harass and stalk this guy until he finally wises up and files a complaint against you.

Just because someone owes you money doesn't give you a free pass to post his info on the net or call his work and home repeatedly. There are court systems to go through for this sort of thing.

You guys know nothing about me. I am not a student, I am not poor. My car is in tip-top shape. Newer nicer wheels with great tires for the price of tires is what I wanted (not pimping). I do know the difference between right and wrong and Jamie Schneider is very very wrong. I have done nothing wrong yet you jump on me and the guy from Jersey like we have harmed you in some way.

This thread is about a thief - Jamie Schneider. Almost everyone appreciates that he is the scum of the Earth and should be punished for what he has done. Let's keep focused on him please, not bash us for outing him and not dealing with the problem how you might.

He will lose. Suing now is the same as suing back then - same crime, same evidence (actually now I have a confession that I didn't have back then and promises of repayment which will help enormously in court). Statute of limitations is 6 years in Wisconsin so taking our time changes nothing.

Alright enough is enough. The kid made a mistake and he is getting punished for it. Stop whining about it on these stupid forums and get over it. You'll get your money back if you take the right steps. Maybe next time you shouldn't just willingly hand your money out to people cuz these types of people are all over especially online. And yes they could even be someone you consider to be a close friend. You made a mistake so learn from it and move on.

The kid hasn't been punished at all.

I'm not whining. You brought the matter up again.

The legal process is useless to me - he already owes $5K to someone else and is about to get a felony conviction for $10K. He is dry.

I used to be trusting, based on many positive experiences. This guy is the rotten apple. My bad judgment doesn't mean I have to suck it up and move on.

If we all throw our hands up and say 'silly me', how will we ever stop these ********?

Publicity is all I have - the more people that are aware of him, the less likely he is to strike again.

Remember who the victim is here.

Justin, didn't he promise you he would pay me back? How does it feel to be lied to by a VERY close friend? He even used your identity to rip off the other guy, yet you take his side.

Your right I hate getting fucked, you trusted the ******* like a friend and he screwed you over. You learned a 500.00lesson that will haunt you for a year or two. I would like to tell you to go rent an excavator, grab his POS Audi and drop it through his roof but that wouldn't help you get the rims. However if you get a judgment you can have the sheriff take his possessions and that would be getting even because auctions aren't bringing crap right now 500 plus damages for his Audi sounds about right.

Finding him in a bar and testing out the water boarding technique sounds good. I hear it's legal now.

Is this the same advise you give to murder and rape victims too?
