Default I'm turbo'ing my 2.8 before September. Anybody want to help?

Why not be the ginni pig? I live in tampa and can get a hold of enough used (500 or less miles) stuff locally and it would still be affordable. I can't afford a 2.7t as of right now, I bought my 2.8 without research and spent the rest of my 540 (insurance) money on stupid ****. DONT FLAME THIS POST I KNOW THE COMPRESSION RATIO DOESN'T ALLOW FOR HIGH BOOST PSI, JUST GET OVER IT, I AM!

RESEARCH THIS THREAD BEFORE TALKING CRAP
https://www.audiforums.com/forum/sho...t=39369&page=2
THEY'VE ANSWERED ALOT OF HATERS ALREADY! Lol.

I'm located in Bradenton (35 mins from tampa) If anybody from florida wants to come help that would be great! I'm starting to buy the parts tomorrow, I'll take any suggestions.

I prefer you guys look at http://tampa.craigslist.com for parts before you recommend parts. I'm getting most everything local from used classifieds as I do have another car this is a fun project.

PM ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN DOING THE WORK WITH ME, EVEN COMPANY WOULD HELP!

haha dudes are hattters.
I started to buy all the parts. I'm getting a GS stock turbo from an eclipse, im only going to boost around 5-6psi, add about 30 hp i hope. I need to find a header fabricator and I'll just get standard lines off eBay or something.

Its a trial so obvioulsy i'm going to spend the bare minimum, if it works I'll buy better parts and surpass stage 1

Why not just put a 25 hit of nos on it if your going for that low of horsepower.... Go with a wet system as simple as that. Will run you 300-400 bucs for a good set up. You can even get 50-75Hp if you wanna do some **** aswell. I think the button is the way you should go

wow this is the type of treatment you'd expect from audiworld.

New flash, to be completely honest, my audi, i do what I like, people have turbo'd 2.8's before and if you did your research you'd know.

To joe and wammy,
Get a life.

To oc_audia,
You've been cool but this type of post count boosting is unexpected. P.S. if you would have read or would have done research you'd realize it can be efficient, (you're just being naive like everybody else)

ONLY REAL ENTHUSIASTS CAN PULL THIS OFF.

So again, unless any of you **** boys want to buy me an Audi, don't tell me what to do with my car.

Obviously nobody else read that thread I referred to, which is once again expected from post ******, if you did you'd see it can be efficient and can be boosted at more than 10 psi. Worth it then?
