I'm looking to install an iPod kit in my '00 A6 avant with the factory radio. I'm looking for a kit that plugs into the CD changer harness in the back. What has worked for you?

This is what i use, goes into the back of the CD player, and gives you RCA inputs (uses the external cd changer circuitry).. I split the rca input and ran one set to an XM direct unit, and the other to a 3.5mm jack for my ipod. add a car charger for the ipod and you're set

 

Dice electronics makes a great setup... you have to buy a cradel to match you cars dash online. any car audi place can install. it allows for steering wheel controls to control the ipod or control from the ipod itself
