iPod connection

hello,

anyone know of a "do it yourself" way of putting in an AUX-type connection to my 2000 A6 2.7T?

Search for Dice Electronics, Dension Ice-link, also the dealer had a factory option a while back.

I have 2006 A6 and there's no input for ipod to my knowledge as I tried to connect it so do I search for the same thing or is there another option?
