Thanks for the advice. Today I finally did it -- bought a 2000 A6 2.7T 6-speed, black on black (Onyx interior). So far very happy with it (it's been all of 4 hour or so) Love the color.

The car has 67,000 miles on it and everything I wanted except the sport package (no nav, but I didn't care for Audi nav). Paid $13,750. I was ready to spend a little more, but this one hasn't had the 60K service done yet, so this was a good compromise. I am going to do the service before I begin shopping for mods .

 

Congratulations. That sounds like an awesome car. I am a little jealous. That is a really good price. Noticed any problems on it yet? Did you get it from a dealer or from private? Man, I gotta get into a newer A6, less than 14 grand for a 2.7t with the 6 speed. I am totally out for replacing my A6 in about a year it is really amazing to see how mush the price is coing down. Is it the pearl black? Gonna post pics?

Wow, nice price on the car. I paid $14900 for my 2000 A6 2.7T with 72K mi on it. A little more than what i wanted to spend, but it is well worth it! And to think, I almost bought a 540i[]
