Whats up Audi forum members?

I just registered so im a pretty big noob to these boards.

But yeah i just got this a6 2.7 s-line 04 with 30,000 miles for 20k.
I am going to get a radar detecter and subs but after that does anyone have any suggestions for my first mods?
I heard that getting a chip with increase my horsepower by about 50, but does anyone have any suggestion on what i should do to it after that, thats not too costly... thanks

Chipping should take you from 265 to ~318 hp. Great first start and biggest bang for the buck. Enjoy. And if it's an automatic, be careful of your transmission with the extra power.

 

Hey Guys remember me!!!! haha sorry I was unable to post for the past month because of whatever reasons... Anway absolutly sick car. I love the S-line look, but I am fairly certin s-lines only came in an automatic. Chipping it will be a huge difference! (goapr.com for more info)

Personally I went with GIAC for software. Next I would suggest a performance air filter, I went with TrueFlow, but there are many others.

thanks everyone, but yeah i absolutly love this car. It drives so smooth, and is pretty damn quick too. I have no complaints yet about this car.

Thankyou for the help, but in what ways should i be "careful" of my transmission? It is a tiptronic obviously because audi only makes the 04 a6 sline 2.7 in tip that year.
