Just replaced Timing Belt- Tool Available!
Hey Guys,
With the help of some of the threads found here I just replaced the Timing belt, Water Pump, Thermostat and Accessory Drive Belton my 03 A6 Quattro.
Not as bad as I thought it would be, it took all of about 8 hours.
The biggest problem I had was with the coolant lines and transmission lines, man those things seal themselves up tight.
I purchased the cam and crank locking tool, they actually saves a lot of time and ensured that the timing was dead nuts.
The tools are available if any one is interested - $45 plus shipping.
The belt was replaced at 95K miles
