K&N air filter oil?

What is all this about the oil from K&N reusable filter damaging the MAF sensor, is this true? I just put one in my 2.8, now im worried

Do a search this has been covered. But, what most say is that if you do use it. Make sure to clean your MAF quite a bit and well. Do not over oil the filter also.
