Default K04 time! (maybe)

OK, so a move out of state is going to take me away form my trusted independent shop, so I am going to have them pull the motor and replace my K03's with K04's. I was reading up on the replacement and they (ECS Tuning) say that there is the potential for the K04 turbo can over whelm the standard fuel injection system.

So my question is when I upgrade the turbos what else is needed to ensure that I don't end up with a dashboard that looks like a Christmas tree, or damage anything.

Also has anyone had any experience with the PR turbo kits from ECS

AS long as you leave the boost at stock levels, you won't have a problem. When you start boosting the boost, that's when you can overwhelm the fuel pump, injectors and ECU maps. So, what are your plans in regard to boosting the boost?

I was not planning on boosting the boost initially I was just thinking about replacing the stock turbos, may change things later depending on money etc.

Then you will have no issues, other than paying for the upgrade.

Good luck,
