Unhappy Key fob battery?

Hello. Is anyboby can Help. My spare key fob battery has gone dead, put a new battery in, and now won't open the car. Anybody knows howt to recode the fob? Please help.

If I remember correctly, insert the key into the door. Turn right and press the open button on the key a few times. The instruction is on your manual as well.

Yes, this worked. I just put new batteries in and then unlocked the door manually and pressed the unlock button. This is in my owners manual.

In some cases you need to have a working key in the ignition with the accesories on, but the car off. Reach out the window and put your spare fob in the door. At this point my memory is hazy, but I think you just need to press the unlock button on the fob in the door. I believe this procedure is in the manual for the corresponding year/model.
