Is it possible some how some way without major modification to get the LED headlights like on the A5 or R8 onto the 2008 A6? I know the 2009 A6 has these headlights, do you guys know if its possible to get the 2009 A6 LED headlights and put in the 2008 A6 ? I'm asking the dealership too and they are taking forever to answer!

It is possible. And the dealer should be able to do it if they have a modification specialist on site.
The dealer I was speaking with had the 09's in the showroom and I pointed out the LEDs, when I was looking at an 06 A6. and he mentioned they could do something similar with the LEDs. They're nicer than the ones that come stock on the 09. They build them in, a bit below the headlight.

That's about as much info as I got, but don't let them tell you they can't do it. They will run as Daytime running lights.

 

Ohh so the LED's can be added in? Its not part of the entire headlight console? Thats interesting. I just thought they pull out the entire headlight put in a new one. They still haven't gotten back to me yet, I want those LEDs damnit! They look sick!!!
