Default Listening to my iPod

I have an 03 A6 3.0. It has the stock Symphony stereo in it.

My question is, how do I listen to my Nano in it? I bought one of those FM transmitter things for it, but every station I try gets lots of static. Is there a better way to hook it up? Is there a jack in the back of the radio if I pull it out of the dash?

Help!!!

What about the Blitzsafe mlink1 v.1b?
After I posted this I looked in the electronics section and saw a post about it.
Any ideas if that'll work?
