Wow - that's classic Fuse 14 stuff except that I haven't ever heard of it creating drivability issues. Did your display show 3 open doors while the fuse was blown?

Instead of removing the bulb, you can also disconnect the black, two wire connector in the stack of connectors under the front edge of the seat.

Glad they didn't charge you.

Just wanted to post an update. Brought my beloved A6 in for some basic service and unded up getting a $4,000 quote on repairs needed. Started with a check engine light caused by a Mass Airflow regulator / meter (?), then moved to two front tie rods, four new tires becuase of this one, down to a new wheel beering's, it was time for belts (I expected that one), guess my breaks and roters needed to be done, and a few other misc. things. Well, as much as I love my car it was time to move on...I have no moved to the dark side. Hopefully, someday soon, I will be able to start a new journey, with a new Audi partner.

Thank you all for your help / suggestions...
