Looking to get an A6

I currently drive a BMW E46, and I am looking for a car to use in the winter, and I found this A6. Ok, I know it has high miles, but what, I am going to drive it for what, 1000 miles per year? Just some background on me, I am 16, anda JR in High School. I love my bimmer, so please don't bash it. I chose it over an A6 with about 50k miles on it, and trust me, I like the A6's.
WOuld you have any major concerns with this A6, if you were to drive it for 1k miles per year?

that's got lot of mileage, I just bought one same year same 2.8 with 90k on it. Bimmer would be cheaper to keep it. well eithr eway if you know howt owork on it it's cheap though.
if the price is something you can afofrd then go for it.

If you do your own maintenance, go for it. Look into the timing belt, but other than that, for a 1k miles year car you can't go wrong. We own an e36 and now with 240k miles on it, it has been the most reliable car we have ever owned. Aren't you a little young to own two luxury european cars?
edit: our e36 is just fine in the snow with snow tires on it. We live in MN so we know snow. Of course the A6 is better, but we have never had a problem getting the e36 anywhere in the winter with snow tires on it.

You must not pay your own insurance if you have a BMW and trying to get an Audi too, you would think twice, 3,4 and 5times if you did. What, your peoples are going to buy the car for you too. The smart thing to do is take the school bus to school when it snows.
