Default looking to get some new rims

Hey,
I am just looking for some projects this summer and I was thinking about getting some 18 inch rims on my 1999 A6. Just curious if they would look good without it lowered or if I should do that as well. I tried looking for some pictures but I either didn't look hard enough or not in the right places because I didn't find a whole lot. Thanks for the input in advance!

try tirerack.com for wheels. they have a cool feature where you can see how the wheels will look on your specific car. I've been on there a million times, but I'm too indecisive about what to get. Also, remember the rules with quattro and wheels/tires: they MUST all be the same size or kiss your AWD goodbye. And keep in mind your tire size too. Don't go slimmer and taller than OE spec, or you sacrifice safety.

Try the Hartmann site as well. Plenty of Audi pictures in the gallery.

Thanks for all of the input. I found some that I like with these specs:
Size: 18" x 8"
5x112 pattern
Offset: 45mm
the site said that they would fit but I just want to make sure that they will before I spend the money on them of think more about it. Thanks again.

Perfect timing with this Thread. I was thinking about putting some 20" Gianni rims on my '05 A6. I just want something bigger than my 17"'s and that looks very clean. Don't know much about getting it lowered. Should I go 19" to avoid rubbing?
