thanks for the helpe veryone, right now I am thinking about getting some from hogan tire, the purems, or those aces that project13 has.
Would you guys recommend buying online or at a local store like hogan tire?
Is it cheaper to buy online?

What baffles me....I've been told that ET and Offset represent different measurements- is the ET the center bore?

At any rate, one of the audi repro sellers was telling me +/- 28mm, many of the aftermarket stores are saying 30-35mm. I really dislilke wheels/tires extending outboard of fender line. Anyone know for certaintherule of thumb for A64.2L?

Regarding 'lip', Tire Rack has a new wheel line that varies the 'lip' with same offsets front/rear so it gives the look of a staggerred install but works with AWD. Don't recall the manufacturer, Japanese line I think. Not sure about Audi apps, but one would think they would try to include that market segment instead of just scoob-a-do's and Mitsus.

I'm not sure where you are located but I have a complete set of 5 - 17" wheels and tires off a 05 3.2 A6 Audi. I had them on my 02 2.7t and they looked awesome. Four have new Yokohama H4's on w/3100 miles, and the spare still has the new pirrelli p6. Itraded my 2.7t in on a 05 4.2 and it has 18's on it. They are perfect wheels if you're thinking about OEM style. Mounted, ballanced and all. I'm in Minnesota. $900
