Loose Steering 2000 A6
2000 A6, 2.8 Quattro, Base model, all OEM parts, car is all OEM. I've had the car just over a year.
Services done: Full coolant flush 6 months ago, trans flush 3 months ago, replaced fan clutch 6 months ago, did plugs, wires, and coil pack about a month ago now.
Hello all, here's my issue. I've had my A6 for just over a year, but since day 1, it's almost like the steering has no feedback in it. It's almost like the power steering is too smooth, I guess? Let me be very clear; the wheel DOES NOT have any play in it. It all responds perfectly, just doesn't want to turn back on it's own like previous cars I have owned. I checked my alignment, toe, camber, etc. Also did a thorough shakedown of the rack/pinion, only issue right now in the front end is a loose C/V joint on the driver's side. Other than that, I don't understand why my steering is so loose. All help is appreciated!
