My car is giving me a lot of headache recently. This is a 2002 Audi A6 2.7T, it has almost 90K miles on it. One day when I was driving on the high way at 60mph, there comes some strong buring smell from the carbin, and the "oil Level Min" light in the dash was on. My first thought was that the cars is burning oil like usual so I need some oil. So, I imediately get off the highway and went to Warmart, I get some oil and fill into the car, I check the dipstick and the reading is good, however, the light was still on after driving for like two days! I kept checking the oil level and it is always good, and the smell is gone, however, the light is still on!!!

BTW, it seems my car is leaking oil, I notice there is some oil on the place I parked, alomost as big as an orange. So I was wondering what could be wrong with my car? Why the oil level light is still on? How much does it cost to fix the leak? Would you please recommend an individual tech that is not so expensive in NJ/NY/CT area? Thank you guys!
