Loud Rapid Clicking in Hazard/Blinker Relay
I have a 2002 Audi A6 Quattro, recently I replaced the blinker relay with a new one from an Audi dealership because when i used the indicators my blinkers would not blink, rather just stay solid.
After the replacement when i use the blinker the signals now blink but once the arm that you use to turn the blinker on and off returns to its center position there is very loud and rapid clicking coming from the relay itself, I have ensured it is coming from the relay by testing with it hanging out of the dashboard.
I'm guessing this is an issue with the arm that turns the blinkers on and off?
The hazard button works fine by itself and does not cause the rapid clicking.
I am really at a loss here.
Any help is very much appreciated!

I'll be searching around the forums for the part that needs to be replaced and a guide for the install, but if you have this information avaliable that would be great!
I think I've seen a guide around here somewhere, but I seem to be inept in preforming searches here.
Should I just buy a new turn signal stock? or is there anything else i need to get?
Thanks again for your assistance auditech79.
