Louder engine after TC replaced
Hello all.
About 1000 miles I had my torque converter replaced under a warranty because the TC code came up. It was performed at an Audi dealership and of course they changed the ATF fluid when they changed the TC.
Now I am noticeing that when the car is started up it sounds much louder, kind of like a giant fan. It also is reluctuant to shift from 1st to 2nd when the car is first started (1-2 minutes), but I've searched and read that slow shifting is normal for Audi's when warming up.
I have a hunch that they ATF fluid may have not been filled to specs and maybe thats making the engine sound louder?
Any thoughts and insight would be greatly appreicated.
Thanks,
Nick
